How do you test diesel injectors?

I grasp you can test the injectors on a diesel engine by attaching a tube to each injector and putting the other end in a jar but don't have knowledge of exactly what to do. Can anyone help?

A: That is only a very primary test. To test suitably, you need an injector tester - it's not a DIY job
